Breast-feeding Peer Counselors

Breastfeeding Peer Counselors:

1.  Provide a mother to mother connection, ongoing encouragement and information to pregnant and breastfeeding women.

2.  Help WIC mothers manage common breastfeeding concerns.

3.  Offer breastfeeding help outside the usual workday.

4.  Fill the gap in services after hospital discharge.
