Immunizations Cinics Aug 30 and Sept 11

For those students who still need their immunizations for school, San Juan Basin Health Department is conducting two more low cost Immunizations Clinics. One will take place at our Pagosa Springs office on Thursday, August 30th from 10 to 6 p.m. and the other at our Durango office on Tuesday, September 11th also from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parents need to make an appointment by calling 335-2013.

Immunizations are an important part of our children’s health care and Colorado law requires that children going to school be vaccinated to prevent vaccine preventable disease.

San Juan Basin Health asks for a minimal fee of $14.70 per immunization to cover costs of administering the vaccination. Otherwise, the vaccine is provided free thanks to the federally funded Vaccines for Children program. If a family cannot afford to pay, we will still provide the necessary immunizations. Please bring your child’s immunization record to your appointment.
